Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. [John 3:5-7 KJV]

When we are born into this world in our flesh ( bodies ) we quickly learn to serve our flesh and we often hurt ourselves and others by living for our flesh over the will of God towards all His creation.  

God must give us a new heart….and a new spirit…it’s always been expressed that this personal miracle willneed to happen.

[Eze 11:19 KJV] And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

[Eze 36:26 KJV] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

[Eze 36:27 KJV] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them].

No matter how many hypocrites we all know in the world (including the author), a true born again Christian is anyone who has humbly accepted that they are not a good person, but that they are a sinner ( liars, theifs, adulterers, blaphemers, boasters, proud, hard-hearted, etc. ) who’s souls will come before God after their death and will be judged justly for the things they did in their body to themselves and others while they were alive…  

In addition they have believed and humbly accepted the offer and the promises of Jesus, who is the only truly innocent man that ever lived on Earth and who as the only begotten Son of God, offered His life as a sacrificial death to pay for their sins in His own innocent blood that was shed on a cross when He was unjustly crucified and killed without a cause.  

Finally they have confessed to God that Jesus is Lord, and believed in their HEART that God raised Jesus from death on the third day after his crucifixion, death, and burial, as according to the scriptures in the bible.  Instantly upon believing they have been granted pardon for their sins instead of punishment, have been adopted into the family of God, and have been gifted the Holy Spirit of God and become a new person in Him and capable of living for the Spirit of God rather than their old life living for themselves.

God absolutely knows when in your heart you truly repent for your sins, and most importantly when you truly believe Jesus died for your sins and rose from death afterwards and your faith is truly in Him and His grace and no other way.  

He then supernaturally wintnesses, and immediately sends The Holy Spirit to live in you along with your newly re-born once dead spirit.

A modern description using the world around us might be that God Himself celebrates, and ‘authenticates’ and ‘validates’ the moment when your brain and heart connect to His Holy Spirit wifi.

God is a Spirit, not a religion.  Yes, the bible is a religious book, but it is also a spiritual book.  God is the Spirit of Truth.  God’s Word has multiple functions that include both religious and spiritual works, concepts and applications.  No religious work can get you to God.  Jesus did the work of dying for your sins on the cross.  Religious people killed Him.  But the good news is that He rose again (in the flesh) on the third day by the Spirit of God because He had not sinned.  [John 1:17 KJV] For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. [John 4:24 KJV] God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. 

The Spirit of God knows you better than you know yourself.  You can’t lie to God, either.  God knows if you want to give your life to Him, or live for yourself and your sins in this world. He certainly knows what you believe in your heart about His Son and if  you’ve accepted His payment for your sins, or not. That’s why God Himself will ‘validate’ your belief and personally send you His Spirit when He knows you have come into agreement with Him and believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and that He rose again. 

Until then, you are simply playing at religion or living for your old ways, but you will never fool God.

[John 3:7 KJV] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
