About Us

Thank you for visiting.  Our story isn’t more special than yours.  God loves you, whoever you are and sent His Son to die for your sins.  We hope you will learn about Him as well.

Perhaps ironically, A Lift For Lives.org was initially started by a cancer survivor with a goal of encouraging people to donate their blood before getting a tattoo to help save people who are sick.

About a year after starting the organization the founder got saved by Jesus.  Not for being good, but because he repented of his sins, put his faith in the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and His authority to forgive sin, His goodness to offer Himself a sacrifice, and His resurrection after death.

After being born again the organization was at a stand still for some time while the founder re-evaluated if the organization was needed at all or what to do with the gifts that Jesus has given him.

Since then the organization was lead by the spirit towards a focus on pointing the spiritually sick and lost towards Jesus.  The blood we point people towards is not giving their own blood before a tattoo, but accepting the donated blood of the living Savior before their death.

We have a call to focus on street ministry as a labor of love for Jesus.

It’s His blood donation for us all and our sins that matters the most.

The “Lift For Lives” we realized is Jesus.

Jesus taught:

[John 12:32 KJV] And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.

So we lift up Jesus.

He was lifted for our lives and yours.

We now realize that we were not saved by our works, but that we have been saved unto good works that are in Him….otherwise we were just helping people with handouts and giving them blood that only lasts so long.

We are now maintained by friends who want to share Jesus with the world as a way to thank Him for saving their souls!

If you feel lead to make a donation, or want to participate with our ministry in any way, please contact us via email.

Our site is meant to be a free resource for learning and collecting evidence for the resurrection of Jesus and the bible, as well as provide a way for sharing original content we create as we grow in Him and in the scriptures.

Street ministry and evangelism by sharing the gospel is our first priority.  We also have other passions such as Christian counseling in addition to encouraging people who are getting new tattoos to consider donating blood first thereby promoting more and safer blood donations.  Note : The cool-down period recommended in many states is up to 1 year before donating blood again to a family member or another because of various health concerns.

If it be in God’s will that this information or this site helps someone, then we give Him all the glory.

God has a purpose for all of us.  We pray He reveal His purpose for you!

Psalm 46:10 KJV
Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Our Core Beliefs

We believe that anyone can be saved, but unfortunately many will not be saved, because they have not accepted Jesus Christ of Nazareth as their Savior.  Salvation is a free gift, reserved for all who believe and call upon Jesus while believing in their heart having faith that He paid the penalty for the sins they peronally have committed ( past, present, & future ) and believe in their hearts that he rose from death on the third day after his crucifixion and the details that are covered in the gospels of the KJV Bible.

Once a person calls upon Jesus in faith that He is their living Savior Jesus will himself validate their belief by sending the Holy Ghost to give them a new spirit as well as live inside them and guide them after sealing them for the redemption of their body after death.

Any who do not accept Jesus’ free gift of grace by paying for their sins will be judged by God according to His law and will not enter heaven, but will be sentenced by God for eternity for the sins they comitted in their bodies.

We’ve come to accept the KJV Bible from cover to cover as the Living Word of God.

Comprised of the Old and New Testaments, we believe that the 66 books (as original autographs) of The KJV Bible are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Living Word of God.

The Bible is the final authority and hold that The Word of God supersedes any earthly law that is contrary to the Holy Scriptures.

We recognize that The Bible contains various styles and types of writing and human authors penned the words, but believe the Holy Spirit perfectly guided them to ensure they wrote precisely what God wanted written, without error or omission. The Bible includes historical, moral, literal, absolute, figurative, hypothetical, philosophical, allegorical, musical, mathmatical, poetic, prophetic, and other forms of writings and various instructions from God.

[2 Peter 1:21 KJV]
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.

[2 Timothy 3:15-17 KJV]
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

We believe in the Historical accuracy and truth presented in the Bible.

We believe that such literal historical events are foundational to the Christian faith because interpreting the text otherwise causes major flaws in thinking and doctrine.

Examples of historical beliefs derrived from Bible :

Adam lived in God’s grace in the garden of Eden and was the first human. Sin & death entered Adam because of his transgression of the law and have been passed down to his generations since the fall. The everlasting Holy Spirit of God also left Adam when he transgressed. He was no longer living under God’s grace and his sin would be accounted to Him unless he had a Savior other than himself.

Noahs’ global flood is a historical and literal event.

We have come to understand that many scriptures contain allegorical value in additon to their face value.  They also convey spiritual messages, themes, and various elements to convey the revealation of God’s intent for us as individuals, communities and nations both in Him and those that do not want to follow God.

God reveals some ( not all perhaps ) of His purpose and plans for each of us if we are willing to look and believe.

We believe that the genealogies of The Bible may be used to roughly calculate the lifespans of the patriarchs which can be also used to approximate the length of time since the fall of mankind through Adam.

Using genealogical calculations, some believe the universe and the earth to be approximately 6,000 years since the fall of Adam.

When it comes to the overall age of the earth and creation we are willing to consider various views, knowing that this matter will likely not be resolved until God Himself shows each of us.   Some think 6,000 or so, others take the approach that you can not know for certain how long it was before Adam fell from grace.

When it comes to matters of faith, practices, etc. we trust the scriptures, and always believe they contain the revelation that God has given us for everyone’s benefit and many questions will not be answered fully in any of our lifetimes.  God is perhaps showing us enough to seek Him and enough evidence to have to decide to trust Him with some of the lingering details. God wants to be searched out.

When you can verify scriptures with scriptures, it takes precident over the unknown :

EXAMPLE OF VERIFYING WITH SCRIPUTRES :

  •  The book of Genesis is confirmed by the scripture itself to be a literal and historical record of God’s creation:

[Genesis 1:26, 31 KJV]
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. … And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

  • We see again in scripture that Creation occured in six literal days as verified again in these scriptures:

[Exodus 20:11 KJV]
For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

We are saved because of one historical account : A person can only be saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and trusting in Him by believing He died and rose again after defeating death – literally – as according to the scriputures – regardless of any other particular belief regarding history or the age, shape, size, spin, either of the earth or other any other doctinal disputes about history or religion.

We believe that any person can know with certainty if they have been or are living in accordance with the will of God, this is because He has written His Laws on our hearts : as well as found in the scriptures.

We are sure that that most people you meet no matter where they are from will simply admit that it is not morally right to :

  • Lie
  • Steal
  • Covet Things or People
  • Murder
  • Have Sexual Relations Behind A Partner’s Back
  • Treat Others Poorly or Unfairly

[Romans 2:14-15 KJV]
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

FIRST THE LAW WAS GIVEN TO ISRAEL

[Jeremiah 31:31-33 KJV]
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

NEXT THE LAW WAS GIVEN TO ALL OTHERS IMPARTIALLY :

[Romans 2:1-16 KJV]
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

We believe there is one God who eternally self-exists.

God is One, but is recognized as three distinct separate persons the Bible describes as God The Father, Jesus The Son of God ( Word ), and Holy Ghost.

These three are one.

[Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV]
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:

[1 John 5:7 KJV]
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

God is an infinite, eternal, personal being. He is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love, discernment, and in truth.

None of us fully understand Him more than we completely understand the world around us, ourselves, etc.  If God were not somewhat of a unique mystery then we might end up questioning if He were God at all.

[Isaiah 46:9-10 KJV] Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is God incarnate, God in human form, the express image of the Father, who, without ceasing to be God, became man in order that He might demonstrate who God is and provide the means of salvation for humanity.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. [Matthew 1:21 KJV]

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]. [John 1:18 KJV]

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: … For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell; [Colossians 1:15, 19 KJV]

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary; that He is truly fully God and truly fully man; that He lived a perfect, sinless life; that all His teachings are true.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for all humanity as a substitutionary sacrifice. We hold that His death is sufficient to provide salvation for all who receive Him as Savior. We hold that our our justification is grounded in the shedding of His blood and that it is attested by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead..

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [1 Peter 1:3 KJV]

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven in His glorified body and is now seated at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate.

God was manifest to us in the flesh as Jesus Christ.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. [1 Timothy 3:16 KJV]

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [Romans 8:3 KJV]

We know that all things were created by Him and for Him.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [John 1:1-4 KJV]

Jesus has the mind of God.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: [Colossians 2:8-10 KJV]

Jesus claimed to be God.

I and [my] Father are one. [John 10:30 KJV]

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father? [John 14:9 KJV]

We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit.

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. [Acts 5:3-4 KJV]

He regenerates sinners and indwells believers.

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; [Titus 3:4-6 KJV]

He is the agent by whom Christ baptizes all believers into His body.

(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) [John 7:39 KJV]

[Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. [John 14:17 KJV]

He is the seal by whom the Father guarantees the salvation of believers unto the day of redemption.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. [Ephesians 4:30 KJV]

He is the Divine Teacher who illumines believers’ hearts and minds as they study the Word of God.

But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. [John 14:26 KJV]

We believe that the Holy Spirit is ultimately sovereign in the distribution of spiritual gifts.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. [1 Corinthians 12:4-13 KJV]

We believe in the reality and personality of other beings created by God.  They are spirit beings or angels that include Satan ( the Devil / The Dragon, The serpent ), and various other Angels & now fallen angels known as devils / demons.

Spirit beings, or angelic beings including Satan ( aka : The Devil / Lucifer ) fell from God’s grace because they would not properly honor God and have followed Satan in their attempt to kill, steal and destroy man’s relationship and purpose in an eternal relationship with God.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick: [Matthew 8:16 KJV]

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. [Job 1:6 KJV]

To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. [Acts 26:18 KJV]

Satan is a fallen angel who led a group of angels in rebellion against God.  He is the great enemy of God and man, and the demons / devils are his servants in evil. He and his devils will be eternally punished in the lake of fire.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. [Revelation 12:9 KJV]

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, [Revelation 20:2 KJV]

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick: [Matthew 8:16 KJV]

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick: [Matthew 8:16 KJV]

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. [Matthew 10:8 KJV]

But when the Pharisees heard [it], they said, This [fellow] doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. [Matthew 12:24 KJV]

The company of faithful angels is like a great army (all His hosts).

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. [Psalm 148:1-2 KJV]

The psalmist called upon all angelic beings to give God praise.  He commanded and they were created: All creatures or creations owe honor and praise to their Creator, especially things created by the simple command of their Creator. Such a mighty maker deserves praise. Evolution may or may not be atheistic; but the doctrine of creation logically demands worship; and hence, as the tree is known by its fruit, it proves itself to be true.  If the fruit God produces is good, it is a reflection of Him.  If it is bad, and He does nothing about it, it would be a reflection of Him.

If we choose sin over God, then, if God is good, what should He do with us? But if we choose Jesus over our sin, and He makes us acceptable to God, should not we give Him thanks?!

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [Romans 5:6-8 KJV]

We believe that humanity came into existence by direct creation of God and that humanity is uniquely made in the image and likeness of God but is living separated from the life-giving Spirit of God and is dying.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. [Genesis 1:26-27 KJV]

We believe that all humanity, because of Adam’s fall has inherited a sinful nature, that all human beings choose to sin like Adam.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [Romans 3:23 KJV]

and that all sin is exceedingly offensive to God

For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [Romans 6:23 KJV]

Humanity is utterly unable to remedy this fallen state

And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: [Ephesians 2:1-2 KJV]

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [Ephesians 2:5-10 KJV]

Salvation explained : In our daily lives we may salvage a vehicle, restore it, and make it whole again.  It was headed for the junk yard.

Biblical salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering that has been caused by sin, by which we’ve become corrupted and choose to serve oursleves, or things of this world, rather than God.

To save can also be to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance.

More often, the word salvation concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance. When Paul told the Philippian jailer what he must do to be saved, he was referring to the jailer’s eternal destiny :

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. [Acts 16:31 KJV]

Jesus equated being saved with entering the kingdom of God through belief in Him.

And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. [Matthew 10:22 KJV]

What are we saved from?

In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! [Romans 5:8-9 NIV]

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, [1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 KJV]

Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. … For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [Romans 6:20, 23 KJV]

Biblical salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the removal of sin. We are saved from both the power and penalty of sin.

Who does the saving? Only God can remove sin and deliver us from sin’s penalty.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, [which is] our hope; [1 Timothy 1:1 KJV]

To Titus, [mine] own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. [Titus 1:4 KJV]

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [Titus 2:13 KJV]

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, [Titus 3:4 KJV]

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? [Luke 5:21 KJV]

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. [Matthew 9:6 KJV]

How does God save? In the Christian doctrine of salvation, God has rescued us through Jesus Christ (John 3:17).

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [John 3:17 KJV]

Specifically, it was Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved our salvation.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. [Romans 5:7-10 KJV]

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; [Ephesians 1:6-7 KJV]

Scripture is clear that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God and is only available through faith in Jesus Christ.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. [Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV]

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. [Acts 4:12 KJV]

How do we receive salvation? We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13).

In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, [Ephesians 1:13 KJV]

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? [Romans 10:14 KJV]

Then, we must believe—fully trust and put all your hope and faith the Lord Jesus.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. [Romans 1:16-17 KJV]

This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: [Acts 3:19-20 KJV]

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. [Acts 2:38 KJV]

Then calling on the name of the Lord Jesus and believing that God raised Him from the dead.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. … For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. [Romans 10:9-11, 13 KJV]

Salvation is only obtained when we understand and accept God’s provision and His strength through Jesus and His righteousness and not our own.

Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, [2 Timothy 1:9 KJV]

Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. [Romans 3:25-26 KJV]

Due to the greatness, sufficiency, and perfection of Christ’s sacrifice, all those who have truly received Christ as Savior are eternally secure in salvation, kept by God’s power, secured and sealed in Christ forever

In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. [Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV]

Just as salvation cannot be earned by good works, neither does it need good works to be maintained or sustained, however good works will come when a life has been changed as the result of savlation.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [Ephesians 2:10 KJV]

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. [2 Timothy 3:17 KJV]

[This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. [Titus 3:8 KJV]

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. [James 2:26 KJV]

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [Matthew 7:15-17 KJV]

We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all ‘born again’ believers of this present age consisting of men and women from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.

We believe in the Great Commission as the primary mission of the physical Church.  The gospel of the grace of God that can only be found through faith in Jesus Christ is to be preached to all the world.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. [Matthew 28:19-20 KJV]

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. … Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee? follow thou me. [John 21:16-17, 22 KJV]

We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Scripture are available and active in His church today.

We believe that the universal Church, even those who are ‘asleep in Him’, have been sealed by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.

THE LAW IS GOOD EVEN IF BREAKING IT HAS DEADLY CONSEQUENCES :

Knowing the law is good, because it points out sin to us all.  Knowing what sin is keeps us from abusing ourselves and others.

[1 Timothy 1:8 KJV] But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;

The law is also given equally to us all, so that no matter who we are when we are born, or who we become in life, God is bound and able to judge us all individually fairly when we die and give an account of our life in our bodies and how we dealt with others who he loves and gave the law to as well :

[1 Timothy 1:9-10 KJV] Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

Sin occurs & accumulates in us when we break God’s good laws.  When we sin and don’t repent we are storing up more and more righteous judgement for ourselves.

Sadly, we have all sinned.

THE LAW CONVICTS US OF OUR SIN :

Rom 3:10, 19-20 KJV] 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: … 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

[Psa 38:3-4 KJV] 3 [There is] no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither [is there any] rest in my bones because of my sin. 4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

[Rom 3:20 KJV] 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

Sin, like a cancer, brings forth death.

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH :

[Jas 1:15 KJV] 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

[Rom 6:23 KJV] 23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Help – now that I know what the law is, and I agree it’s good because it protects us all fairly, how then can I stand tall before a sinless God to give an account of the deeds I’ve done in my flesh to His ceation and what excuse will I give for most of those deeds? That’s where the good news of the gospel comes in…

[1 Timothy 1:11-17 KJV] According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

In addition to instructions on God’s ways, standards, and laws The Bible also explains how one’s soul must be saved and how one’s spirit can be reborn into newness of life by the Holy Spirit in order to be washed of sins and their spirit walk with and live by the Holy Spirit of God who comes to live inside of them.

In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

This can only be obtained through an individual’s heart-felt belief and faith in the sinless life, works, & shedding of His sacrificial blood on the cross after he was wrogfully sentenced and convicted and afterwards in the bodily resurrecton of Jesus Christ and appearances.

Because Jesus died for the sins of the world, the invitation to believe is open to all, and whoever desires may come unto Jesus for new life and the forgiveness of sins.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. … For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. [Romans 10:9-10, 13 KJV]

[Romans 5:2 KJV] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

[Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Heaven and Hell:

We believe those who reject and do not personally trust in and receive the saving work of Christ by faith will be forever separated from God in an everlasting torment called hell.

[Matthew 18:8-9 KJV] Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

[Matthew 25:41 KJV] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

[Isaiah 33:13-14 KJV] Hear, ye [that are] far off, what I have done; and, ye [that are] near, acknowledge my might. The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

[Revelation 20:10-15 KJV] And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

By contrast, those that accept and trust in the saving work of Christ shall be with God forever in an everlasting blessedness, reward, and satisfaction called heaven.

[John 3:15-16 KJV] That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life..

[John 14:1-3 KJV] Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

[Matthew 25:46 KJV] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
