Where possible it is best to give a SCRIPTURAL ANSWER because it is God’s Glory to be revealed. They may forget your words, but they will remember God’s.
2 Timothy 4:1-5 KJV - Make full proof of ministry / Work of Evangelist
[2 Tim 4:1 KJV] I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
[2 Tim 4:2 KJV] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
[2 Tim 4:3 KJV] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
[2 Tim 4:4 KJV] And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
[2 Tim 4:5 KJV] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
2 Corinthians 4:1-18 KJV - We Have Ministry / Gospel hid to the lost / We preach not ourselves
[2 Cor 4:1 KJV] Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
[2 Cor 4:2 KJV] But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
[2 Cor 4:3 KJV] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[2 Cor 4:4 KJV] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
[2 Cor 4:5 KJV] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
[2 Cor 4:6 KJV] For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
[2 Cor 4:7 KJV] But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
[2 Cor 4:8 KJV] [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair;
[2 Cor 4:9 KJV] Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
[2 Cor 4:10 KJV] Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
[2 Cor 4:11 KJV] For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
[2 Cor 4:12 KJV] So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
[2 Cor 4:13 KJV] We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
[2 Cor 4:14 KJV] Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you.
[2 Cor 4:15 KJV] For all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
[2 Cor 4:16 KJV] For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.
[2 Cor 4:17 KJV] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;
[2 Cor 4:18 KJV] While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.
Ezekiel 33:1-20 KJV - Be A Watchman / Warning or blood on hands
[Ezek 33:1 KJV] Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
[Ezek 33:2 KJV] Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
[Ezek 33:3 KJV] If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
[Ezek 33:4 KJV] Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
[Ezek 33:5 KJV] He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
[Ezek 33:6 KJV] But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
[Ezek 33:7 KJV] So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
[Ezek 33:8 KJV] When I say unto the wicked, O wicked [man], thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
[Ezek 33:9 KJV] Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
[Ezek 33:10 KJV] Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins [be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
[Ezek 33:11 KJV] Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
[Ezek 33:12 KJV] Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his [righteousness] in the day that he sinneth.
[Ezek 33:13 KJV] When I shall say to the righteous, [that] he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
[Ezek 33:14 KJV] Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
[Ezek 33:15 KJV] [If] the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
[Ezek 33:16 KJV] None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
[Ezek 33:17 KJV] Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.
[Ezek 33:18 KJV] When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.
[Ezek 33:19 KJV] But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
[Ezek 33:20 KJV] Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.
